How is Steve different from OCR?
OCR reads characters from an image. Steve turns unstructured photos, audio, and text into structured fields your systems can use. It can also check the evidence against your standards and return a verification verdict.
Can we use Steve just for extraction?
Yes. Use Steve as an extraction engine to turn unstructured text, photos, or audio into structured data and pass it to your systems through the API. Define the fields you need. Verification can be added when your use case also needs a decision against your rules.
Does our team need to build a workflow?
No. Bring the fields you need and any rules you want to verify. We build the workflow with you. Your team receives structured results through the API, or uses the Open Loyalty integration for loyalty workflows.
What exactly do we pay for?
You pay for verified submissions for your use case. Images rejected at the quality gate because they are blurry, dark, or unreadable are not billed. Your statement shows submitted and billed volumes side by side.
